Rumiyana
Project type : Rumiyana is a multimedia musical puppet theatre performance based on Mevlana Rumi’s work, Masnavi, whose influence transcends national borders and unites people of all races, nationality, gender across the globe, owing to the universality of his thoughts.
My Role : Illustrator, Animator ( I worked on the background projections and animations for the play)

The show was first performed at India Habitat Centre, Delhi on 4th December 2022 and then at Serendipity Arts Festival,Goa on 19th December 2022. It has been received with resounding applause and audience appreciating the unique combination of traditional puppetry and contemporary design, a quintessential Dadi Pudumjee style
Our project draws inspiration from the captivating world of Persian miniature paintings, seamlessly translating their elements into a three-dimensional realm. The focus is on meticulously arranging these elements within the 3D space to evoke a sense of depth, inviting viewers to explore a dynamic fusion of tradition and innovation.
